Internet built for the bay, run by neighbors.

Wired internet from Puerto Vallarta, beamed across the water to your door. Our towers run on sun and batteries, so a blackout in Yelapa doesn't take us down. Installed by our own technicians, and a local team that answers when you call.

Yelapa WiFi or Starlink?

A dish on your roof connects you to space. We connect you to the bay.

Starlink is a good product for remote ranches and boats. In a village of palms, hillsides, salt air and summer storms, a local network with a local team simply works better, and costs less.

Cost

Installed for you. Yours to keep.

One installation fee of MXN 5,000 covers the antenna, a Ubiquiti WiFi router and installation by our technicians, and the equipment is yours. A Starlink kit costs about the same (MXN 4,999 to 7,599), you mount it yourself, and busy zones can add a demand surcharge.

People

Someone you know shows up.

Our technicians live here, speak Spanish and English, and come to your house. With a satellite company you open an online ticket and ship hardware back and forth.

Backups

No single point of failure.

Five internet lines, two providers, two hubs and automatic failover. In July 2025 a software fault took Starlink offline worldwide for about two and a half hours, and nobody local could fix it.

Power

Online during blackouts.

Every tower in the bay runs on its own solar panels and batteries, so when Yelapa loses power, the network keeps running. Our antenna at your house draws only a few watts, so a small UPS keeps you online for hours. A Starlink dish draws tens of watts and drains a backup much faster.

Paying

Pay the way people pay here.

Cash, Mexican bank transfer, Mercado Pago or PayPal. You get a reminder a week ahead and five days of grace. No foreign card required.

Community

Your money stays in the bay.

Every peso pays local technicians and builds a better network for Yelapa, Quimixto and Las Ánimas, rather than leaving the country.

How your signal gets here

From Vallarta to your terrace in four hops.

Wired in town

Our two hubs in Puerto Vallarta connect to several internet lines from different providers.

Across the bay

Carrier-grade radio links carry it over the water to our tower at El Faro.

Along the coast

From El Faro and the hubs, it reaches Quimixto and Las Ánimas.

To your home

A small antenna on your roof and a WiFi router inside. That's all you need.

Built with backups

When one path fails, you shouldn't notice.

We've rebuilt the network so every village has more than one way out. Our routers watch each link and switch over on their own, then alert our team so we can fix the broken path.

Internet lines

From two different providers, so one outage in town doesn't take the bay offline.

Hubs

Two separate hub sites in Puerto Vallarta, each with its own links across the bay.

3

Villages with automatic failover

Yelapa, Quimixto and Las Ánimas switch paths by themselves, tested in October 2026.

☀

Solar powered

Every tower in the bay is self-sufficient, running on solar panels and stored batteries. Power cuts in the villages don't reach the network.

Monitoring

Alerts reach our team the moment a link drops, often before customers notice.

FAQ

Common questions

How fast can you install?

Usually within a week of confirming your house can see one of our towers.

What happens when the power goes out?

Nothing changes on our side. Every tower in the bay runs on solar panels and stored batteries, so the network stays up when Yelapa loses power. Your own antenna and router need power at home; they use very little, so a small UPS keeps you online through most outages. backup.
